Student Experiences
Binford Elementary School is a unique place that offers students a wide array of activities beyond the rigorous academics. Binford students participate in various clubs and organizations. Some of these clubs and groups include the BadgerBots robotics team, which competes at the state level, as well as Running Club, Girls on the Run, choir, band, and strings. Our goal is to ensure that all Binford students not only excel academically but also experience joy while developing as whole individuals.

Community Partnership
Binford prides itself on our great community partnerships. Binford hosts students studying education from both Indiana University (IU) and Ivy Tech Community College. Binford’s ENrich tutoring program connects students who are learning English with Indiana University tutors who visit the school to provide individualized support. Binford also has unique opportunities to work with the IU School of Chemistry, IU Maurer School of Law, and other university programs.
